It’s great to attract new sponsors to the sport and with the Spruce Goose being situated in the leisure park it made sense to get them on board to sponsor Chuck-A-Puck. The deals they are offering fans are a great bonus, additionally they are also looking after the players following Thursday training sessions with somewhere for them to have a bite to eat and relax as a team. I’m really looking forward to welcoming Lee and his team to the rink to watch games this season”.

Spruce Goose General Manager Lee Hamerston commenting on the Spruce Goose coming on board as Bison sponsor said,

“We are always looking to sponsor local teams and create a local identity for our brands, sponsoring the Bison particularly as we are neighbours was an easy decision to make, we look forward to welcoming fans into the pub and eating at our Beefeater restaurant”.

What is Chuck-A-Puck?

Chuck-A-Puck is game of skill where you try to land a puck as near to cone on the ice as possible.

Chuck-A-Puck takes place in the second period break each week.

Pucks are thrown towards a cone from in front of the team benches.
