Tonight, we welcome Bristol Pitbulls to the arena for their first ever visit to Basingstoke.

In line with the wishes of our governing body the EIHA on the sad news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II we ask for all supporters to be in their seats by 6.20pm.

Immediately following the players entering the ice surface and lining up on the blue lines, we will ask those who are able to, to stand, while we observe two minutes’ silence.

Immediately following the silence, the National Anthem will be played.

There will be no pre-game or after match presentations this weekend.

We will run our interval period games of Chuck-A-Puck & Chuck-A-Duck and weekly 50/50 & Shirt off the Back draws.

Here’s everything you need to know about your visit:

TICKETS: We encourage you to book in advance to avoid queuing on match night at the box office.

Our ticket system ensures you’ll be emailed instantly with your ticket and all you need to do on the door is show the bar code.

If you’re unable to buy online, then the ticket office will still be open for purchases on matchday for cash and card payments.

TICKET PRICES: Prices for game night tickets are:

Adult – £15.50

Child – £7.50

Senior Citizen – £12.00

Family (2 adult & 2 children) – £42.00

Disabled Admission Policy – One complimentary admission ticket will be issued to a carer of a disabled guest if ID is presented connecting the name of the disabled guest to the recipient of one or more of the following: Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Attendance Allowance (AA), Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Armed Forces Independent Payment (AFIP), or is a registered blind person.

DOORS OPEN: Doors open 1 hour before face-off.  We ask that you do not bring bags unless necessary. If you do bring a bag, it will be searched.

MERCHANDISE STANDS: There will be no merchandise stand available at tonight’s game – we will be taking orders for replica jerseys by the Puck & Duck stall and we will have some sizing jerseys for people to try on as Dunamis our new shirt supplier jerseys are very different in style and sizing to last year’s supplier.

SIGNING TABLE: There will be no Signing table until the start of the League campaign on the 17th September.

Food & Beverage:

The rink bar will be open all evening long, with Papa John’s will once again be producing freshly made pizzas.

You can order in advance before the game so your delicious piping hot pizza is waiting for you in one of the intervals or at the end of the game.

There’s no need to rush to eat before heading to the arena when you can grab a delicious Papa John’s during the game.

VENDING MACHINES: The majority of our vending machines accept card and cash payment.

CARD PAYMENTS: The majority of the arena concession stands (food areas and bar) can take contactless payment and where possible we ask you to pay by card but if necessary, we will still accept cash.

OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINK:  No outside food or drink is allowed to be brought into the venue, unless required for medical or dietary purposes.

MATCH-NIGHT PROGRAMME: We will not be operating with a match night programme this season.

However there will be available this week,  free to collect Gamesheets for people to complete please pick these up tonight from the Puck & Duck table.

COMPETITIONS:

The ever popular 50/50 draw will be running tonight, with one lucky winner each week taking home a huge cash prize. Tickets cost just £1 and are available from our roving sellers and at the Merchandise Club table.

Shirt Off the Player’s Back: is just a £1 ticket you could be the first person to own one of the clubs new Light jersey’s when you could be the lucky winner of Club Captain, George Norcliffe’s #16 jersey.

These will be available for the winners next week when we should be in posession of re-made jerseys.

Chuck-a-Puck: in association with our new sponsor Beefeater – Spruce Goose who are situated on the Leisure Park is once again back for another season so grab your puck for just £1 head to between the benches during the second break period and aim for the centre of the rink and you could win a Beefeater voucher.

Chuck-a-Duck in association with Ma Humbugs grab your ducks for just £1 head to between the team benches also during the second break period (the ducks will follow the pucks throwing) and aim for the centre of the rink and win yourself a bag of Ma Humbugs sweets.
