We have been sent the following update from Aidan after his time is hospital and he has asked us to share it with the supporters:
After what has been one crazy week I’d just like to put a post out for everyone to say how I’m doing.
Firstly from the bottom of my heart I’d like the thank every single one of you who who has sent me the kind heartwarming messages, the support, the donations and love.
I am on the road to recovery now thanks to the amazing team of doctors surgeons nurses and physios at Southampton hospital, they really are something special, my close family and friends have been absolutely unbelievable in looking after me in every way especially Maddie Webb who has been a god send.
You don’t realise how important your body and mind are till you test its limits and if anyone who reads this ever feels down or upset, a healthy body and a healthy mind is all you need to get through anything i promise you.
Hockey is one hell of a crazy rollercoaster, but it’s the best one I’ve ever been on and I wouldn’t change anything for the world.
I miss you all and I can’t wait to see you all soon.
Aidan
