As the government last week ended the country’s COVID-19 protocols in most settings, the GalaxC Cooling Services Basingstoke Bison are pleased to confirm that we will also be amending our match night protocols.
From the game versus the Raiders on Saturday 5th March 2022, “End of Game” Man of the Match presentations will re-commence.
“Shirt of their Back” winners will also be presented with the jersey they have won and pictures taken on the ice – after the presentation the jersey will then be taken back by the club and laundered and be available to collect from the merchandise stall at the next game.
Also after the Raiders game on the 5th March, we will be holding one of our ever popular “Skate with the Bison” events where our fans will have the opportunity to skate with the players.
The Skate with the Players session will get underway after the Man of the Match presentations, once the players have dropped their kit off into the dressing room and will last around 30 minutes.
Fans can join in free of charge as long as you hold a valid match ticket for the game.
Skate hire will be available for only £2.50 for anyone who doesn’t own their own skates – just arrange your skate hire at the box office in the period breaks!
For supporters attending the game who do have their own pair of skates, the post-match skate with the players is free of charge.

If you cannot attend a game due to a positive COVID-19 test result, please contact us via email at hello@bstokebison.co.uk by 12noon on the day of the game with proof of a positive test or proof of self-isolation requirement. We will issue a voucher (no refunds) to be used at a future game so you can return when it is safe to do so.
Unfortunately, we won’t this season be operating an after match players signing table on a weekly basis but on March 19th after the Phantoms game we will be doing a “Full team” Autograph Session in the skate hire area as a thank you to all our loyal fans for your continued loyalty and support this season, so bring your cameras and memorabilia that you’d like signing for this one-off event.
