As part of the EIHA inaugural Pride week event at Saturday’s home game (15th January 2022) versus the Telford Tigers, your GalaxC Cooling Services Basingstoke Bison will be wearing a special one-off jersey for the occasion.
In collaboration with our jersey manufacturer Young Guns Sports, these jerseys will be worn to show our support for all in the LGTBQ+ community within our sport and to make a statement that Bison games are an inclusive environment where all fans have a right to be treated with respect.
Adjourned on the jerseys are two statements outlining our club’s commitment that we believe that ice hockey is for everyone and will continue to share this message of equality.
“Everyone is equal” and our club motto #wearefamily are both featured on the rear of the jersey.
Fans can purchase a game worn jersey as worn by one of the players playing in this weekend game (all players jerseys are available to purchase including 2 way players #44 Tom Banner & #96 Cain Russell).
