The GalxC Cooling services sponsored Basingstoke Bison are saddened to confirm that several players will not be returning to Herd’s roster for the 2022 / 23 season.
Club Captain, Basingstoke born, Elliot Dewey has for the last season been travelling into the area to play for the Herd and with his job continuing to mean he will live outside the local area Elliot has regrettably decided to take up an opportunity with another team in our league.
Defenceman Ollie Stone will also not be returning to Basingstoke next season after confirming that he too will be plying his trade with another team in the League next season.
Alongside players already announced by their new teams the Herd are disappointed to lose the services of Assistant Captain Adam Harding, two-way player Elliot Lewis and last season’s “two-way” revelation Cain Russell who’s moving overseas to ice in the USPHL Premier division with the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings.
All at the Bison would like to thank these players for their dedication, effort and commitment whilst wearing a Bison uniform and wish them and their families all the best for the future both on and off the ice.
