Due to a sickness and flu bug which has decimated the GalxC Cooling Services Basingstoke Bison roster, unfortunately we have had no choice other than to inform the EIHA Management Committee that tomorrows night (Saturday 5th November 2022) Planet Ice National League fixture has had to be postponed.
A new date of Sunday 19th March 2023 (Face off 5.30pm) has been set for the game to be played.
We would like to thank the NIHL Management group and the Raiders IHC organisation for their understanding in this matter.
Tickets for this game will be valid for the rearranged date and if anyone has any questions or can not make the rearranged date please email hello@bstokebison.co.uk
With regards to the away game in Peterborough on Sunday, we hope to able to put together a team of Bison players supplemented with players from other local clubs to fulfill the fixture – further details will be released in due course.
Bison’s John Neville commented,
“This really is an unfortunate position for all concerned, we have kept the EIHA abreast of our situation as well as both our opponents this weekend, this afternoon we had to make decision of moving Saturday’s home game to another date in the calendar, we currently have only 7 fit players from the roster!”
Neville continued,
“Of course we wish all our players and their family members who are suffering from this illness a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing them back on the ice as soon as possible”.
