Your GalxC Cooling Services sponsored Basingstoke Bison have just one National League game to contend with this weekend, and it’s at home on Saturday to Raiders IHC, with a 6.30pm face off.
Romford based Raiders currently occupy the final play off position, they are just one point ahead of 9th placed Bees IHC, although Raiders have played one game more in the battle to claim that important play off spot.
Leading the points scoring for our opponents is the highly rated Jake Sylvester with 46 (21+25) from 36 games, next is Raiders Captain and former Bison favourite Aaron Connolly, on 35 points (21+14) from 31 games.
Bison fresh from a 4 point weekend will no doubt be in confident mood approaching Saturday’s game, of course Ash and the players will know any team coached by Sean Easton will be a well drilled and very hard working, therefore the Herd will need to be switched on right from the opening puck drop to the final buzzer.
Saturday night is also the night fans can skate with Bison directly after the game and the Herd have relaxed many of the COVID-19 protocols as per the press release earlier in the week – the article can be found here
DJ Bavy returns to the match night lineup ready to fire up the Wall of Sound, as always its Loud, Louder, Loudest.
Let’s go Bison.
