With less than a week to go before the GalxC Cooling Services Basingstoke Bison return to the ice in pre-season action, we are pleased to announce a new sponsor to our portfolio.
The Ice Barn will become the Herds helmet and glove sponsor in association with True ice hockey equipment and be the teams official off-ice wear sponsor.
The eagle-eyed supporter will have noticed a number of new logos from our jersey release last weekend and one of those is the “Ice Barn” whose logo will feature on all Bison playing jerseys this season, on the shoulders of the rear of the jersey, they will also have an enhanced profile on the rinks boards, our club website, and social media channels for the forthcoming season.
The Ice Barn is a local company based in Oakley Basingstoke. After struggling to purchase readily available high-quality equipment at a competitive cost, The Ice Barn founders The Boulding family alongside Bison netminder Jordan Lawday decided to create our own Ice Hockey equipment store making our mission to dedicate high quality customer service delivered with a sense of warmth and friendliness, with high quality equipment at competitive rates, thriving to make Ice hockey affordable to all.
Specialising in Howies, Vaughn and True equipment, we are also excited to be teaming up with The Lawday Goaltending Academy to offer our customers the opportunity to try before they buy on our bespoke Glice Pad.
Bison’s John Neville commented,
“Its always great bringing on board new sponsors to the Herd, working with Nick, Kelsey and Jordan we have been able to provide new equipment for the players and in so doing assist the guys at Ice Barn to increase their exposure to the hockey community”.
The Ice Barn Family commenting on the announcement said,
“We are really pleased to be able to support our local team, supplying them with equipment and clothing apparel really gives The Ice Barn the opportunity to showcase our local support to all levels and what we can do with the passion we possess for the love of the game. We look forward to working with the Bison family for many years to come, we are extremely excited to be part of the 2022/23 season”
The news keeps coming thick and fast now for the fans of the Herd as we start our ‘Stampede into 2022 / 23 Season’, with new sponsors and returning sponsors on board, players to be announced, and much more fans need to keep their eye on our social media channels and club website as we build towards our first home game on 3rd September when we entertain Bees IHC in pre-season action.
