The GalxC Cooling Services sponsored Basingstoke Bison are pleased to confirm that exciting young British forward, Zack Milton, has signed for a 2nd season.
Milton’s debut season with the Herd following his move from the Bracknell Bees yielded 62 pts (28+34) from 54 games, which saw him finish as our 3rd highest points scorer behind Roberts and Harding, plus 3rd in the goal scoring stakes also, behind Roberts and Doughty.
While at the Bison’s end of season awards evening, Zack picked up both the Young Player of the Year and Forward of the Year trophies.
Head Coach Ash Tait had this to say about Milton re-signing,
“Getting Zack back was a priority for me given the year he had. He definitely started to realise the potential I’d seen previously and whilst he’s still learning his trade I think he’s ready to take on more responsibility with the situations he’ll play in”.
Zack commenting on re-signing for the Herd said,
‘I’m really excited to be back and pulling on a Bison jersey for another season, We will definitely be looking to build off last season and look to capture some silverware.”
Zack continued,
“I can’t wait to back in the rink playing in front of such a loud and knowledgeable group of fans and hearing the wall of sound”.
